St. Clare’s student space, named after St. Clare of Assisi, is designed to address students’ insecurities across four key areas.

  • Mindful Haven: A serene space featuring puzzles, games, coloring pages, and unique additions like a wall waterfall and sand table. Open daily for relaxation and mental well-being.
  • Hygiene and Essentials: Offering free items like soap, shampoo, toothpaste, bedding, and more. Supporting financially burdened students and those with hygiene concerns.
  • Food Support: Half of the space stocked with cereals, boxed dinners, and snacks for students facing food insecurity. Open on designated days, managed by the Coordinator of Student Support Services.
  • Student Success Hub: Direct access to the Coordinator of Student Support Services, aiding students with insecurities and connecting them to resources both on and off campus.

St. Clare’s aligns with Quincy University’s “Success by Design” initiative, ensuring students excel academically, socially, and holistically. It’s a vital support system prioritizing students’ well-being and success.
